For some it’s a dream that they’re too poor to buy,
For others it’s free but they’re still asking, “Why?”
A life-breathing box fills a paralyzed chest,
Tired eyes can be closed for a much needed rest.
For the two year old child who fell in the pool,
It’s a chance to grow up and attend that law school.
It’s a box full of magic in a cold hopeless night,
For a man whose breath is his most difficult fight.
A lifetime to wonder ‘bout what would have been,
A fate chosen by some that’s allowed them to win,
All you passers-by staring please smile at me,
See, God’s miracle box made a miracle…me
